IMPLANT RETAINED SILICONE PROSTHESIS:

  • Absence or loss of facial structures causes functional deficits and enormous psychological distress, so rehabilitation is necessary.
  • However, facial prostheses have some difficulties due to mobile underlying tissues and retention.
  • So implants are used for retention of auricular prosthesis.

ADHESIVE RETAINED SILICONE PROSTHESIS:

Silicone prosthetic ear can be easily adapted to the tissue bed using adhesives which are acceptable and easy for the patients.

AURICULAR PROSTHESIS:

There are two types of prosthetic ears. The first adheres to the skin using safe, biocompatible glue, and the second type is called an osseointegrated prosthesis.

NASAL PROSTHESIS:

  • A nasal prosthesis (artificial silicone nose) is to restore normal contour and improve function for patients who have experienced partial or total loss of their nose to traumatic injury, disease or due to surgical removal of the nose.

ORBITAL AND OCULAR PROSTHESIS;

  • An orbital prosthesis restores the eyeball and eyelids and may include the eyebrow and part of the forehead, nose, or cheek.
  • We make the ocular (eyeball) portion of the prosthesis from laminated layers of acrylic (plastic) and paint each ocular prosthesis individually to match the unique detailed coloring of your intact eye.
