Implants
ALL ON 8:
- All on 8 dental implants are a type of dental procedure wherein eight implants are fixed in each jaw that acts as anchors for a fixed dental bridge.
- The uniform distribution of chewing forces to the implants is necessary for a perfect smile, comfort, and long-term health of implants and bone.

ALL ON 6:
- With full mouth tooth replacement option, 6 dental implants are placed at strategic intervals throughout your upper or lower arch and it is important they receive sufficient support from the surrounding bone.
- The All-on-6 process offers a stable, long-term, alternative to traditional dentures.

ALL ON 4:
- The “All-on-4® “treatment concept was developed by Paulo Malo with straight and angled multi-unit abutments, to provide edentulous patients with an immediately loaded full arch restoration with only four implants.

IMPLANT SUPPORTED OVERDENTURE:
- An overdenture is a complete or removable partial denture that has one or more implants to provide support.
- Overdenture dentures are superior to conventional complete dentures in biting force, chewing efficiency, and force discrimination.

IMPLANT PROSTHESIS:
Malo Implant Bridge:
- The Malo Implant Bridge features a removable occlusal screw-retained superstructure; fabrication of the framework with a computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing system allowing accurate adaptation; and use of the final tooth position model with guide temporary crowns allowing easy porcelain build-up and satisfying the patient’s esthetic concerns.

SINUS GRAFTING:
- It is a surgical procedure which aims to increase the amount of bone in the posterior maxilla (upper jaw bone), in the area of the premolar and molar teeth, by lifting the lower sinus membrane and placing a bone graft.

BONE GRAFTING:
What is a dental bone graft?
A dental bone graft adds volume and density to your jaw in areas where bone loss has occurred.
Who needs a dental bone graft?
- Are having a tooth extracted.
- Plan to replace a missing tooth with a dental implant.
- Need to rebuild the jaw before getting denture.
Have areas of bone loss due to gum (periodontal) disease.

RIDGE EXPANSION:
- Severe alveolar bone resorption can occur after tooth removal. Treatments using the placement of dental implants require adequate bone height and width.
- Ridge expansion is to create bone width is splitting the ridge with the ridge expansion technique.

SINGLE IMPLANTS:
What Are Dental Implants?
- Dental implants are artificial root that feel, appear and function as your permanent natural teeth. Dental implants replace missing teeth by mimicking nature as closely as possible.
- Dental implants are surgically implanted into a patient’s mouth to replace teeth that are either missing or are too damaged to sustain further use.
Why Should You Consider Dental Implants?
Benefits of Dental Implants
- Appearance
- Function
- Convenience
- Comfort
- Self-esteem

ZYGOMATIC IMPLANTS:
- Zygomatic implants are different from conventional dental implants in that they anchor in to the zygomatic bone (cheek bone) rather than the maxilla (upper jaw). They may be used when maxillary bone quality or quantity is inadequate for the placement of regular dental implants
- In the atrophic posterior maxilla, in general one zygomatic implant is placed on each side of the maxilla, in combination with 2-4 conventional implants in the anterior region.
- For the totally resorbed maxilla, when placement of anterior implants is not possible the concept can be expanded by inserting 2 additional zygomatic implants in a more anterior position (Quad zygoma).

SURGICAL GUIDE:
- Guided implant surgery (GIS) allows to transfer planned rehabilitation project directly into surgical field.
- Guided implants insertion often allows mini-invasive surgeries without the necessity to elevate a surgical flap.
- A further advantage of guided techniques is to have, at the time of surgery, a prefabricated fixed prosthesis, based on planned implants position, able to connect newly inserted implants and to easily achieve a functional and aesthetic immediate loading.
