SURGERY
EXTRACTION:
Why are teeth removed?
Excessive tooth decay, tooth infection, and crowding can all require a tooth extraction.
Tooth extraction is performed by a dentist or oral surgeon and is a relatively quick outpatient procedure with either local, general, intravenous anesthesia, or a combination.

DISIMPACTION:
- The most common impactions are seen in cases of wisdom teeth (third molars).

ORTHOGNATHIC SURGERY:
What is jaw (orthognathic) surgery?
Jaw surgery, also called orthognathic surgery, is surgery that helps align your upper jaw (maxilla) and lower jaw (mandible). If your jaws don’t line up, it can affect your bite and make it hard for you to eat and speak.

PERI APICAL SURGERY:
The periapical surgery is to seal the root canal system, thereby enabling healing by forming a barrier between the irritants within the confines of the affected root and the periapical tissue.
